Only essential cookies.

Cradlo sets only a handful of first-party cookies — the ones that keep you signed in and remember your settings. No ads, no analytics, no cross-site tracking. The plain-English summary first, the full policy below.

In plain English

  • Only essential cookies

Cradlo sets a few first-party cookies and storage items — to keep you signed in and remember your language. Nothing more.

  • No ads or tracking

No advertising cookies, no analytics, no cross-site or social tracking, no web beacons. We don't profile you.

  • You're in control

Choose Accept or Essential only when you first visit, and change it any time from Cookie settings in the footer. You can also clear cookies or sign out in your browser. Blocking essential items may stop you staying signed in.

Full cookie policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026. The full policy is provided in English.

This Cookie Policy explains how Cradlo ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://cradlo.app and use our mobile apps (together, the "Services"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

The short version: Cradlo uses only a small number of first-party, essential and functional cookies and local-storage items — the ones needed to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any cross-site tracking. When you first visit, you can Accept the optional functional items or choose "Essential only," and change your mind any time.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. "Local storage" is a related browser technology that lets a site save small amounts of data (such as your preferences) on your device. Together they are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, and to remember your choices.

Cookies and storage set by the website owner (in this case, Cradlo) are called "first-party." Items set by anyone other than the website owner are called "third-party" — they are typically used for advertising, embedded content, and analytics. Cradlo does not set third-party cookies.

How does Cradlo use cookies and storage?

We use only first-party cookies and browser storage, and only for purposes that are essential or functional — that is, to operate the Services and remember your preferences. We do not use them to track you or to advertise to you.

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • Sign-in session — stored in your browser's local storage by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you securely signed in between visits. Clearing it (or signing out) signs you out.
  • "lull.consent" — local storage. Records your "Accept" or "Essential only" choice, and when you made it, so we can honor it and don't have to ask again.
  • "lull.offlineQueue.v2" — local storage. Holds entries you log while offline until they sync, so a logged feed, sleep, or diaper is never lost. Written only when you log something offline.
  • "lull:timer:…" — local storage. Keeps an in-progress sleep, feed, or pumping timer running if you reload the page. Written only while a timer is active.

Functional (set only if you choose "Accept")

  • "lull.lang" — local storage. Remembers which language you chose so the Services load in it next time. If you decline, we still detect your language each session — we just don't store the choice.

A couple of other first-party preferences work the same way — set only with your consent, and only if you use the feature that needs them: a layout cookie ("sidebar_state", kept about 7 days) if you collapse the in-app sidebar, and a reminder ("lull.installPrompt.dismissedAt") if you dismiss the "Add to home screen" prompt.

What we do not use

To be clear, Cradlo does not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies, and we do not serve ads.
  • Analytics or performance-tracking cookies (no Google Analytics, no product analytics).
  • Cross-site or social-media tracking, web beacons, tracking pixels, or "Flash" cookies.
  • Any third-party cookie that profiles you or follows you across other websites.

How can I control cookies?

When you first visit, Cradlo shows a short cookie notice with two equal choices: "Accept" or "Essential only." Choosing "Essential only" turns off the optional functional items (remembering your language, the sidebar layout cookie, and the install-prompt reminder) and keeps only what sign-in and the features you use require — you stay signed in, and nothing you've already logged is lost, either way. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it and default you to essential only without showing the notice — you can still opt in from "Cookie settings." We run no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking, so there is nothing of that kind to opt out of.

You remain in full control of cookies and storage:

  • Choose "Essential only" in the cookie notice (or send a Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signal) to decline the optional functional items, and use "Cookie settings" in the footer to change your decision at any time.
  • Sign out of Cradlo to clear your session.
  • Clear cookies and site data for the Site in your browser settings to remove everything Cradlo has stored, including your language and layout preferences.
  • Set your browser to block or warn you about cookies. If you block strictly necessary items, parts of the Services (such as staying signed in) may stop working.

Because the way you refuse cookies varies from browser to browser, see your browser's help pages for details — for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.

Other tracking technologies

Cookies are not the only way to recognize visitors. Some websites use web beacons (also called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs") and similar technologies for advertising and email tracking. Cradlo does not use web beacons, tracking pixels, or Flash cookies.

How often will we update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies and storage we use, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently changed. Please revisit it to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.

Where can I get further information?

If you have any questions about our use of cookies or other technologies, please email us at hello@cradlo.app. You can also read more about what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy.
